SENIOR NETBALL
It’s time to register for Winter Comp.  Please have a look over the following details so that you are well informed on the happenings for the upcoming season playing with Chatswood Rangers.  

Registration  

Registration is due Friday 12th February 2010.  To make the process easy, registration and payment will be online at www.chatswoodrangers.com.au  

This year the fees for playing have increased to $160.00.  This slight increase is due to NSNA raising their fees this year.  

Please Note…the Registration Fee does not cover umpires for the season.  Each team is required to pay to be umpired each week, either $20 for Senior Levelled or learning umpires or $25 each week for National Badged umpires.   

Grading  

Please indicate any requests for your team and grade while registering, along with preferred playing position.  These details are important!  Late requests for team placements will not be accepted.  As it is always difficult forming teams, please assist us by being clear and providing as much detail as possible.

JUNIOR NETBALL

 Fees  
 In 2010 the registration fees for Chatswood Rangers Juniors Players will be $190.00   

There is a 50% discount for the 3^rd child and any subsequent children in a family will be FREE.  This applies across football and netball.  If your family qualifies for the discount in one sport only the online system will automatically process the discount, however if you qualify across 2 sports, please DO NOT use the on-line payment system, as it does not calculate the discount.  You can register on-line then go to the ‘pay by cheque’ or ‘mail credit card payment’ options.    

 If you are aware of any child who will be prevented from playing football or netball in 2009 due to financial difficulty, please contact Michelle King on 0419 500099.

 

Important Dates for your Diary

12 February  – Registrations Close  

Commencing 10^th February - Selection Trials will be held over 3 weeks 10^th – 24^th February. All players are expected to turn up to all trial games at Willoughby Netball Courts, as follows:    

5.30 - 6.30                Netta's
6.00 - 7.00                10's & 11's
6.30 - 7.30                12's & 13's
7.00 - 8.00                14, & 15's

Uniforms      

Uniforms must be purchased before the season commences. Uniforms will be available for purchase during the grading trails.   

How Teams are Formed    

The club conducts selections over three days to assess the player’s technical abilities and their abilities within a team environment. For players returning from last season the previous years coaching reports will also be taken into consideration when selection and grading is undertaken.    

Parent Involvement    
Our Club is run by parent volunteers and everyone is expected to take on a role to help with the running of the teams or the Club.   Involvement in junior sport is an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience. 

Each squad or team needs a coach and manager before we can register it with the NSNA.  You can indicate your interest in coaching or managing on the online registration form.    

It is also worth considering older siblings or other family member or friends as potential managers or coaches for you children’s teams
